Club Family Hotel Michelangelo Milano Marittima

It is a fantastic hotel, with underground parking, heated pool and all the luxuries you can wish. It's near the center so all the atractions are there: Pineta Disco, Papete Beach, etc. It's not a 5 star hotel but neither a 4 star: it is a 4 star superiore (superior) as they like to call it. And if you ask me they really deserve that 'superiore' ranking :)

We have just returned from our stay for the second consecutive year at the Michelangelo Hotel in Milano Marittima and again this year we were not disappointed. I would like to mention all the people who have pampered us and who really work with passion: Camilla, Rocky and Giovanni from reception (who unfortunately we didn't get to say hello this morning). Restaurant and service: Gianluca and Laura always available and smiling, together with Franco and Katia. Animation that I have already verbally praised to the animation chief Enrico, all very young, but very good guys who really work with the heart and with a great desire to do and to transmit. Vittoria, remember that you have a future in fitness 💪 Andrea, Giada, Samuele, Federico always available even with the little ones like my 4 and a half year old son ❤️. And then Pendolo, a great character who makes the team varied. Thanks to the bosses Lorenzo and Enrico for the smile and availability! How can we forget the bar with Guerrino and Margaret, always friendly and ready for a joke. Giulia, the photographer, is also kind and discreet. The structure could improve, but x the rest can not be said more. Thank you all so much for pampering us and keeping our super lively toddler entertained too! Stella, Elia and Marco.

We stayed at the Michelangelo club family hotel from 12 to 26 August ... For us it was the first time in a club family hotel and what can I say, it was truly a top holiday! The really kind staff and always ready to welcome you with a smile ... I'm talking about everyone ... from the receptionists, to the caretaker (who always had a chat early in the morning with my husband who went running), to the cleaning ladies, to the guys in the dining room and at the bar (Guerino the number 1... on the last day he made me a top cappuccino😂). The animation guys are all very good .... young but professional and never intrusive! The head of animation Enrico, top, during the cabaret made us die laughing! As far as the structure is concerned, the hotel is really in an excellent position ... a stone's throw from the beach and close to the center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and always clean. The areas dedicated to children are beautiful and well-kept. Our six year old had a blast. Good eating is truly present H24🤣. At the restaurant I always found the soup with the various condiments also suitable for my 10-month-old baby. In short, super recommended for families! We usually never go back to the same place twice but next year I think we will gladly return to the Michelangelo. Thank you all so much for making us spend two wonderful weeks. This is the second year we have spent in this facility. Last year we fell in love with it, praising it to everyone as a very good place for a family holiday with children, where you can not think about anything. The entertainment had won us over: Giacomo, Enrico, Pendolo, and the girls from the mini club always available and smiling. We were struck by the disproportionate quantity and variety of food, in the main meals but especially in the interludes. In short, full of an unforgettable experience, we decide again for this structure. To upgrade, we decide to choose one of the available suites, so as to make our new experience an even higher bar. We returned a little disappointed this year, due to some disappointed expectations and because despite having spent more for having chosen a more performing room, something in the services offered has definitely lost quality and efficiency. The room, a suite, had several things that didn't work: light bulbs in the bathroom, lights in the room, sockets. The king size bed mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The external part of the terrace, however, is splendid, large and well furnished with a Jacuzzi tub, in which we spent a couple of afternoons of uncertain weather. The hotel's common area, which is usually heated, was cold and therefore did not make the experience pleasant. The interludes between the main meals, which this year in the appetizer area did not shine with variety (I also understand that at the end of the season people opt for a few variations to organize the leftovers in a more functional way, but I am comparing the same seasonal week of last year ) aperitifs, snacks, snacks and evening post-show buffets have always been sad, not very varied, visibly revisited, over and over again, if not completely absent or not enough for the guests. We wanted to take a look at the other affiliated structures, noting that the shortcomings I report in this review were only for our structure: both in the one in Cervia and in the other two in Milano Marittima, the buffets intended for guests were largely long more captivating, varied, abundant and of high quality and there was a more festive and unifying feeling also for this reason. The staff who looked after the bar this year were not inclined to the philosophy of the rest of the staff (reseptionists, waitresses, and girls dedicated to cleaning the rooms who were truly very efficient). Unlike last year, there was no garget on arrival: this This year there were no water bottles to use for drinks on tap and therefore a disproportionate use of plastic glasses by all guests. Which is now truly anachronistic. As regards the entertainment, the boys were all very nice and friendly, although in my opinion a couple of steps behind the group from the last experience. Pendulum, the only one we found from the group of last year, confirms itself as the "highlight" for laughter, sympathy and smiles. Ultimately, it seemed to us that perhaps due to internal organizational issues, due to the launch of the new affiliated structure, due to a redistribution of personnel, our structure among all was significantly penalized. In short, if I decide to become loyal to a family club I expect that everything that led me to reconfirm my choice I will find again the next time, if not with some improvements, certainly not with visible losses in services and staff. Really reluctantly...this is my experience. I return home, unlike last year, with the certainty of not choosing the Michelangelo next year with my eyes closed. Having seen the others, this one is the most intimate, most familiar, least distracting, with the proposal of suite rooms that are really worth trying, especially for a first experience with small children in a family club. But unfortunately it no longer compares in terms of services (children's play area, swimming pool, menu offer, entertainment) with the other 2 in the area.

Just finished our first experience at the family hotel. Definitely promoted! The real strong point is the staff .. from the girls at the reception Camilla Ilenia and Roky, to the waiters in the restaurant Francesco Laura and Martina, to the young but eager to do animation guys! The adorable and sweet girls Vittoria and Giada and all the really super nice guys Lorenzo Federico Spina Andrea Pendolo and Samuele! The girls had a great time and we too were involved in activities both on the beach and in the hotel! Clean and spacious rooms and bathroom, some flaws on the comfort of the bed and some details that you would expect impeccable from a 4 superior but all in all promoted! We will definitely think about it for next year's holidays! 🙂
